In times of crisis it is important to develop a mosaic of responses and include, in the great liberal education tradition, a relentless focus on students’ well-being and safe access to educational opportunities. Bard College is doing just that with its twenty-five-year global engagement with liberal arts and sciences, and the January 2020 establishment of the Open Society University Network (OSUN), of which Bard is a founding member.
