
We invited all GHL Teaching Fellows to join us this winter, January 23-24, 2023, at Hotel Amano Rooftop Conference Room for two days of conversation, collaboration, perspective, and pedagogical training.

The GHL program will cover all travel expenses. Please book your trip to Berlin with Princeton University's designated travel agency, World Travel. Our travel agent, Stephanie Shores, will be able to assist in booking your travel, including your flight and/or train and hotel. You can reach Stephanie at:

We have a group booking at the Hotel Amano in Central Berlin, The GHL program will pay for up to three nights for each traveler at the Hotel Amano. Please confirm with ([email protected]) the number nights you intend to stay.
Check-in from 15:00. On the day of departure, the rooms are available until 12:00 breakfast is included.
The Summit will be held across the street at the Hotel AMANO Rooftop Conference Room.

The GHL program will disperse per diem Visa cards to each traveler on your arrival day. You will have to activate this card and can use it in all places credit cards are accepted in Berlin. The GHL will pay for up to 3 days of per diem funding to be used for meals, taxis, and other travel incidentals.

For those that will need travel visas, please begin this process right away. Contact Nicole Bergman if you need a letter of invitation from the host institution in Berlin, Germany. The GHL will cover all German visa expenses.
